The Naked Grape
Set in the heart of Tauranga's busy hospitality area, The Naked Grape is open 7 days from7am. We serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, gourmet pizzas, dinner and, of course, dessert.
The Naked Grape is Tauranga’s premium wine bar with over 100 wines to choose from. The menus are matched beautifully with the wine selection.
Our coffee is 100% arabica coffee beans from Vittoria Coffee. A delicious strong blend that will provide you with the perfect pick me up.
Our fantastic bar manager, Tim Ebeling will create your favourite potion. Tim has worked at some of New Zealand's leading restaurants and bars. Our Head Chef, Jeremy Macdonald, has been at the helm for over 4 years, helping us become a well established restaurant in the Bay of Plenty. An award winning chef, Jeremy has created all our menus as well as function menus and degustation menus. If you are looking for a menu for your next function then Jeremy's your chef.
Seating 60 inside or 60 outside, we offer alfresco dining or inside by the fire if you please. The bar side is set up for the after work drinks
The Harbourside
Harbourside Waterfront Dining Restaurant is 160 seater a la carte style restaurant open every day for Lunch (11.30am until 2.30pm) and Dinner from 5.30pm. Housed in the original Housed in the original Tauranga Yacht Club building, the restaurant is now into its 23rd year of business. The restaurant sits right over the water with balcony seating within touching distance of the sea (at high tide).
A major refurbishment and restoration was undertaken over the last 18 months, which has enhanced both the style and ambiance of the restaurant.
Most tables offer magnificent views of Tauranga harbour and surrounds. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with original art by top New Zealand practitioners including Ralph Hotere, Gretchen Albrecht, Colin McCahon and Allen Maddox. The kitchen is headed by Graeme Woods, who leads a talent team creating Contemporary New Zealand Cuisine with a Pacific Rim influence.
All product is sourced at its absolute freshest and wherever possible locally. Many of our current ingredients are now either organic or free range. We were expecting a real Italian experience, and weren't disappointed. As a regular visitor to Tauranga I've dined in many of it's restaurants and cafes. Yours is certainly one of the best in all you expect a good restaurant to be. Delicious food, great wine, inviting ambience and superb service. Thank you, we'll be back.

Volare is fantastic! my partner and I visit as often as possible once or twice a week if we have time, the service is five star and the food is gourmet quality. Its set in a quaint but roomy establishment that is staffed buy competent a tentative people who don’t miss a beat! The attention that goes into making your dining experience more personal and memorable is infallible ! I highly recommend it to any couple or family again and again alimento fantast
